Our new production line boosts capacity, quality, and flexibility.
We are proud to announce that POLYCINE successfully commissioned a state-of-the-art extrusion line at the beginning of this year. This major investment has increased our production capacity by 50%, enabling us to meet growing global demand and ensure even greater supply security for our customers.
The new line adds valuable flexibility: Alongside our trusted 3-layer technology, we can now produce films with up to 5 layers. This expansion allows us to address individual requirements with even greater precision – whether through enhanced barrier properties, improved material efficiency, or more options in product development.
A further highlight is the improved production environment: The line operates in a qualified ISO Class 6 cleanroom for extrusion and film winding, while the inner layer continues to be processed under ISO Class 5 clean air conditions. Additionally, we are now able to manufacture much larger film widths over 1,000 mm, offering new benefits to our customers. This progress represents a strong commitment to innovation and customized solutions and marks another important milestone in the history of POLYCINE.
